Car Registrations

Reminder notices are sent out for auto registrations on the last day of the month before your birthday. We can now renew registrations in three ways, by mail, E-Reg or by a visit to the Town Office.  E-Reg is processed through your computer.  You can access it by the Moose Plate below.  You can also get a quote through E-Reg. If you renew by mail you must also send a self-addressed stamped envelope for us to mail your new registration and decals back to you. If you renew at the Town Office, you need to bring  your expiring registration or the renewal letter(s) you receive in the mail.

If you are registering a new vehicle, you will need to bring in either a title, or the blue copy of your title application which was done at a NH dealership. This is required of a vehicle model year 1995 or newer. Older vehicles (1994 and back) require a bill of sale and the person's registration you purchased the vehicle from OR a blue VIN Verification form that can be picked up from the Town Office.

If you are transferring plates from one vehicle to another, we need the registration that goes with the plates.
